There are two type of Awning that can be installed either on top of or below the glass roof. There are pros and cons for each type.
Markilux Over Glass Awnings
Whether it’s a traditional Conservatory, or a Glass Canopy, Veranda or a Glass room our above glass awnings will not only provide shade when you want it but also will act as a barrier to heat build-up through the glass roof. It will also reflect away harmful ultra violet light We have a number of styles of Awning coupled with numerous fabrics and colours. The product carries a standard 2 year manufacturers’ warranty but this can be increased to an impressive 5 year full cover as an optional extra. There are a number of different options in terms of fixing either directly to the house wall or alternatively to down onto the roof itself.

Markilux Under Glass Awnings
Unless you have height restrictions or structural reasons for not being able to install an under glass awning then our Markilux 779 and Markilux 879 are the perfect solution. They enable you to spend the day outside in your own garden below a protective canopy. The cover extends under the glass canopy and is protected against dirt, wind and weather.
Our underglass awnings impress with their compact, enclosed cassettes that blend harmoniously into the structure. Operated by remote control they glide smoothly on the tracks and there are lots of lighting options available which allow you to create the perfect setting for a relaxed evening with friends or a romantic meal.
